MIUI Camera Leica Mod is a modified version of the camera application that has been adapted for installation on Xiaomi smartphones with MIUI firmware. This mod offers a number of new features and improvements not found in the original MIUI Camera. Some of these features may include improved low-light camera functionality, a set of additional settings to improve the quality of photos and videos, and new shooting modes such as Landscape mode and others. The MIUI Camera Mod is commonly offered on various forums and can be installed on Xiaomi devices via recovery mode or a third party installer app, but most commonly as a Magisk module for rooted devices.

Warning! Installation without root rights is not possible. Requires Magisk installed. MIUI Camera Leica Mod is presented as a Magisk module.
Installing the module is at your own risk. Possible loss of camera performance (software). In this case, it is recommended to remove the module.
Don’t forget: after installing and uninstalling the module, delete the folder /data/system/package_cache/ and restart your phone.
Perhaps, when installing the module for MIUI14, the application will not have additional settings and it will not differ from the stock one. In this case, it is recommended to install the module for MIUI13.

Universal settings notes:
- Enable Universal settings at the end of Camera settings and re-open them to see the changes.
If your unsupported device is crashing on Photo mode with 3s timer and you can’t get to the Universal settings:
if you’re on MIUI, open camera settings through MIUI settings in system apps;
if you’re on AOSP, try launching it through the holding on app shortcut to Video or other working modes and going through settings like that. - By default APK comes with disabled Parallel Processing (as on the most devices it’s broken on AOSP) and disabled Super Resolution (SR), some newer devices (Mi 10+) require Parallel Processing enabled, otherwise it will crash (located in Lab or Universal settings).
- Triple-lens fix is designed to fix the camera on Mi 9/T/Pro, so usually doesn’t work on other devices, don’t enable it if you haven’t tried other settings.
- Enable MIVI2 only if you know your camera needs it, usually it breaks most of the devices, I don’t know what exactly it does.
- Enabling Render Engine V2 may fix crash on zooming out from 1x while using zoom ring, safe to enable if it doesn’t break anything.
- Try enabling Portrait fix in Lab Options if it doesn’t work after configuring Universal settings.
- Some settings need the camera to restart!
- Universal settings are in BETA and may still not properly work on your device!
- Settings are translated to Chinese, Ukrainian, Russian, Turkish, Polish, Bangla, Indonesian, French, Spanish, Persian, Arabic, Italian and Portuguese (Brazil) using ChatGPT, errors may occur.
